University of Jos Gate Locked Down as Students Embark Protest

 The Student residents of Village Hostel of University of Jos has embarked on Protest to show their disappoint over lack of water and light in the Hostel.

Following the protest, the students have went further to shutdown the main entrance into the University.

According to the Students, they embarking on the strike because the school management has failed to provide water and light since the school resumed.

Speaking to one of the Protesters, he said:

“Why will we come to school and our basics needs won’t be met? Village Hostel needs Water and light, we’re Suffering.”

“We won’t open the school open the gate until the school meets our demands,” He said.
